Consider and act on approval on first reading an Ordinance repealing and replacing Article 3.02 of the Snyder Code of Ordinances by adopting the 2021 International Building Code as captioned below: (Pages 6-18)


AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING ARTICLE 3.02 OF THE CITY OF SNYDER CODE OF ORDINANCES, AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ANY ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AMENDING THESE SECTIONS BY ADOPTING THE 2021 EDITIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE, INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE FOR ONE-AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS, INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE, INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE, INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE, INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE, INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE, INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING POOL AND SPA CODE, INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE, AND THE 2023 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Consider and act on approval on first reading an Ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 3, Building Regulations, Article 3.09, Cross-Connection Control Program as captioned below: (Pages 19-25)


AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 3, BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE 3.09, CROSS-CONNECTION CONTROL PROGRAM, TO UPDATE SAID SECTIONS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE LAW; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
