City Secretary

The City Secretary is an officer of the City and is charged with attending and accurately recording the minutes of all regular and special meetings of the City Council. The City Secretary is the custodian of all official records of the City. The Secretary holds and maintains the City Seal, affixing it to all instruments requiring such seal. 

All City elections are administered by the City Secretary, which includes the: 
  • Preparation and publication of all official notices and orders
  • Preparation for election officials and polling places
  • Receipt and filing of all candidate forms and reports
The City Secretary also serves as the early voting clerk.
